Chingusai of Los Angeles
"First, let's start with an introduction of our group, formerly known as the Korean Bisexual, Lesbian and Gay Network. After much brainstorming, we agreed on the name Chingusai of Los Angeles. Japanese American Citizen League (JACL)-Asian Pacific Islander Lambda Chapter
The API Lambda Chapter is a Chapter of the JACL (Japanese American Citizens' League.) The JACL is a civil rights organization established in 1929. It is a national organization with over 244 chapters and over 20,000 members across the USA. The API Lambda Chapter was founded in November of 1994. It is a chapter of the JACL for members who support gay, lesbian, and bisexual issues. The chapter came about partly from the JACL's stance of equal rights for same sex partners. A second vote was taken at the national convention in Salt Lake City in August of 1994 confirming the organization's position on this issue.

Founded by a group of gay Japanese nationals, JUST will provide emotional support for members and individuals who have recently moved to the southland from Japan. Kaibigan at Pamilya's Filipino
Kaibigan at Pamilya, Inc., a social support and outreach group for gay, lesbian and questioning Filipinos, their friends and families, came into being at the end of 1994. Our primary goal during that time was mainly for social gatherings on Tuesday evenings, but during the past few years we have grown to become increasingly more involved in our community and toward the issues of being gay in the 90's. K&P has recently worked together with ARIS to create P.O.P (Pilipino Outreach Program). This program promotes safer sex education and practices within the gay Filipino community.
